 Successful teams seek to develop leadership skills throughout the team. While formal authority lies with the designated team leader, other team members also demonstrate leadership qualities in response to the nature and demands of work in progress.
Our Leadership Event explores the importance and nature of effective leadership. Team members examine their strengths and weaknesses as leaders learning through both self and peer assessment. Participants will gain an understanding of how they can develop their leadership skills.
A typical one-day Leadership Event will include the following elements:
- Fun and engaging opportunities for each team member to lead the team on one or more team exercises.
- Feedback to each leader about the leadership style he/she employed.
- Discussion about the role of the leader and the characteristics of an effective leader.
- A chance for team members to understand their current strengths and weaknesses as a leader and how they can move forward.

Eventus also offers a number of “off-the-shelf” team building events that are ideal to include within your Leadership Event or to use as a stand-alone team building activity with a focus on leadership. These include:
 An active team event lasting a half or a full day for 6 to 100 "challengers"
Teams complete a challenging route through the forest with a different team leader appointed for each leg of the journey and for each team challenge encountered. A great leadership activity for an active group!
