Facing new challenges

Facing New Challenges

Embracing challenge!Successful teams embrace new challenges. Since nothing is quite as certain as change, your team’s ability to adapt and respond proactively in the face of new challenges is critical. Managing change is fundamentally a people issue. It's about motivation and influencing behaviour, about breaking old habits, and about creating an environment that is conducive to embracing the new.

"It is not necessary to change. Survival is not mandatory" W.Edwards Denning

Our Facing New Challenges Event examines the different ways that change and challenge impact upon different team members. A typical one-day Facing New Challenges Event includes the following elements:

  • Fun and engaging experiential team exercises and activities that involve taking on a new challenge or acquiring a new skill

  • Understanding the human response to challenge, to change and to threats

  • Examining how team members can support each other

  • Facing up to the challenges ahead

We select from a number of different activities to include in your Facing New Challenges Event such as juggling, archery, abseiling and artwork. The exact content and nature of your Facing New Challenges Event will reflect your objectives for the event as well as practical issues such as the number of participants, time available and your chosen location. To find out more please telephone us on +44 (0)1558 668925 or use the enquiry form on our Contact Us page.

Eventus also offers a number of “off-the-shelf” team building events that are ideal to include within your Facing New Challenges Event or to use as stand-alone team building activities. These include:
