A creative activity unique for your team

Design & print a unique logo onto T-shirts for everyone in your team!

Quality Productions is an outstanding team building challenge and a very flexible event. It runs as either an entirely indoors, or as a indoor/outdoor event. Your team or teams receive a tight time deadline plus three tough objectives:

  1. Design an original logo that is representative of a theme (either a given theme or a theme of choice)
  2. Raise the funds needed to finance this project
  3. Print the logo on to a set of T-shirts – one for every team member – and take a photo of the whole team modelling their creation!

This requires your team(s) to operate in clear functional groupings. For example, the design sub-team needs to create a logo that the production team is capable of reproducing. The production method needs to be compatible with a budget that the fund-raisers can commit to supporting. For a successful outcome each sub-group will need to understand their interdependency and a collaborative approach is essential.

The method used for producing the T-shirts is silk screen-printing. This is both fun and deliberately labour-intensive to maximise involvement of the whole team So, given the tight time schedules, a clearly coordinated team approach is vital.

The fund-raising stage includes a variety of team problem solving challenges – these can be as active or as cerebral as required. Once again, the more the team pulls together, the more they earn to fund their production line.

Before the deadline is reached the team is asked to take a photograph of all team members in a suitable pose – wearing their new T-shirts of course – a great momento of the day! The highlight is the catwalk presentation of finished T-shirts with Press in attendance and suitably flamboyant music blaring!

Once the activity is complete, some teams may appreciate the opportunity to conducting a review looking back at how they operated. Together, we identify critical moments in the team process and pull out learning points. This is a great event to highlight the many different ways team members contribute to the team achieving its goals. It also links well to the themes of collaboration across team boundaries, delegation and communication.
