Traditional Treasure Hunts

The exact format we use does vary to ensure we get the very best from the location you choose, the size of your group and the time slot you wish to fill. We know many people love to use gadgets so we often equip each team with a GPS handset to guide them. Following a GPS route on foot is quite straightforward in open areas, such as parkland where you can follow a straight-line. In the urban jungle (or perhaps a scenic town or village) it’s not quite so easy! For example the GPS may be guiding you straight ahead but the junction you have reached only offers a left or right choice of routes. Decision time!

The great thing about our Traditional Treasure Hunt is the flexibility. We can make the treasure trail wide-ranging or stay within the grounds of a selected venue. The treasure hunt can be highly cryptic and cerebral, or a straightforward race to claim the prize. Or we can take your participants on a treasure trail that visits fine sites or historic landmarks.

To get things started we’ll welcome your participants and introduce the activity. Then we dish out the gadgets (GPS hansets, digital cameras, radios etc) and off we go! You can choose to have the same start/finish point, or use the treasure hunt as a way of taking your group to a mystery location (a pub or restaurant perhaps?) for celebratory drinks. You tell us what you want and we’ll sort it!

The treasure hunt ends with a treasure chest being opened – often just seconds before the final deadline! We did mention that you get a real treasure box…and a real prize locked inside, didn’t we? How can it be a treasure hunt without a proper treasure box?? And ours is a real beauty!
