What is Urban Race Cardiff?

Urban Race Cardiff is state-of-the-art, cutting-edge, team-gaming that turns the centre of Cardiff into a giant game-board! If you like, it’s a brand new kind of treasure hunt using all the multimedia and GPS capability of a tablet. And Cardiff is proving to be the perfect location!

Urban Race Cardiff uses the latest game technology and tablet computers to take you and your team on a madcap adventure through Cardiff City Centre. We include Cardiff’s brilliant arcades, Cathays Park (one of the finest civic centres in the UK), Cardiff Castle, Millennium Stadium, Bute Park, The Hayes, Queen Street plus much more. One of the beauties of Cardiff is that it is a compact city centre – getting around on foot is easy. We are Cardiff specialists and proud of our roots!

How Does It Work?

We’ll meet and greet you at your Cardiff workplace or, if you’re based out of town, at a suitable cafe or bar. Either way you’ll walk straight into an exciting game! Armed with tablets (which we supply), teams set-off to unlock intriguing brainteasers, clues to research, photos and videos to shoot and participative activities to complete. It’s busy, current, topical and there’s never a dull moment!

Our most popular booking is for an afternoon or “straight-after-work” time slot. For example, we meet and brief you at 2.00pm. Urban Race Cardiff then runs until 5.30pm when we reconvene at a fantastic Cardiff restaurant. Enjoy drinks and a delicious meal while we delight your group showing  videos and photos taken during your Urban Race.

Urban Race Cardiff packages vary according to the size of your group and your specific requirements. You’ll love our standard Urban Race game and find that it is very competitively priced.
