It’s a mix of the best bits of a treasure hunt and an amazing race using the multimedia and GPS capability of a tablet computer. And London with all its variety of sights and sound offers a great choice of options for this new and fun team activity.

Urban Race London uses the latest gaming technology and tablet computers to take you and your team on a madcap adventure. As London is sooo big we have focused our games in the some of the most interesting and varied locations. So our games include the West End, the South Bank, Westminster, the City of London, Southwark, St James’s Park, Soho, Holborn, Covent Garden and Hyde Park. To ensure getting around on foot is simple we “honeypot” clues in the most interesting areas though we can also offer a longer and more wide-ranging game that takes-in two or more areas across the capital city.

How Does It Work?

We will arrange to meet you at a suitable hotel, pub or cafe in the city centre. If you are a work group with centrally-located offices, we can meet you there. Either way you’ll walk straight into an exciting team adventure! Armed with tablets (which we supply), teams set-off to unlock challenges dotted around the search area. They’ll be questions to answer, items to find, puzzles to solve and lots of photos and videos to watch, listen to and shoot. It’s an active, fun and engaging game with never a dull moment!

Most of our customers opt for an afternoon or “straight-after-work” time slot, though we are happy to accommodate other slots. Urban Race London typically runs for about 2 hours unless doing a wider search area which would need 3+ hours. At the end of the activity we reconvene at a well-positioned or restaurant, pub or hotel. Enjoy your drinks or a delicious meal while we delight your group with a showcase of the photographs and videos shot during your Urban Race.
