A fun, virtual team game combining a "whodunnit" and the TV gameshow "Through the Keyhole"


Your players join the game via your chosen video-conferencing platform and, after a quick introduction from our Game Host, set off to explore The Motel.

Ten celebrity guests attended a discrete celebration at The Motel, and it had all started so well.

But then things went wrong! The party livened up and then got totally out of hand. Gatecrashers poured in! And when the incompetent Hotel Manager came round the next morning, his beautiful hotel was trashed.

We mentioned the Hotel Manager was a hopeless case, didn’t we? Luckily, help is at hand.

Desperate to make amends, the Hotel Manager has called you in. Working as private investigators and arranged in teams, your first job is to draw up a guest list. Who was at the party? All celebrity guests have checked out early but vital clues have been left.

Gameplay involves your team visiting a set of ten virtual rooms to pinpoint the celebrity occupier. Mystery guests are all well-known people from both past and present. The clues are easy to start with but gradually get trickier as your team progresses. Can you beat the clock and get around all ten rooms? And once you have a guest list, a final decision must be taken:

Which celebrity are you going to send the £1,000,000 hotel clear-up bill to?

The Motel is a fun, light-hearted, team game all players will enjoy. It is played in a browser. There are no apps to download which should keep the IT department happy.

The Motel is stuffed full with questions, fun brainteasers, photo and video challenges – often with time limits to keep everyone on their toes.

To conclude, all players reconvene in the main meeting room for an announcement of the winning team. Time allowing, this is a perfect opportunity to share the scoreboard and to enjoy photos and videos taken during the game.
