“Each year we hold a Company Conference which all staff are asked to attend. The objective of the day is to celebrate the previous year’s performance and communicate the business strategy for the coming year. We like to keep the event light and fun for our employees. As a business we have quite a disperse workforce with staff based from 3 different offices across the UK and Ireland and many based from home. As such, we like to include a teambuilding exercise to improve cross departmental working and communications. Some of our employees may liaise with colleagues who they have never met, and so the Eventus activities provide a fun way to get a serious message across. It is great to see relationships form during the exercises as we know they will continue to develop when we are back in the office environment.
