Snow – the perfect weather to practice first aiding skills!
Three of the Eventus Team braved the wintry weather over the weekend of the 28th and 29th of January for a fantastic Mountain First Aid Course!
The two-day residential course specialises in not only providing first aid training, but also recreating realistic scenarios that may be encountered whilst participating in outdoor recreational pursuits and events
Sharon, Alistair and Shona took on the elements as they came up against many casualty simulations and learnt everything from CPR to Triage to how to treat various common illnesses. The intensity of the course did not put our dedicated team off though and all three passed with flying colours!
We cannot thank the Team at CRT Medical enough for a fantastic weekend. The instruction was superb and the cooking was divine!
Our commitment to obtaining qualifications such as this one, chosen specifically because of how they directly relate to the types of activities that we provide, means that all of our staff are as prepared as they can be should any unforseen circumstances arise.
