On just my second day working for Eventus, I was fortunate enough to accompany Phil England and John Davies to Crickhowell for a Brecon Beacons Team Challenge. With my background working for large pharmaceutical companies and working for various teams, I was impressed with challenges dealt with, and the professional attitude and teamwork from the staff at Tarmac procurement. The staff dealt extremely well with tasks set by the Eventus team which included a rope challenge and the Abseil of an 80ft cliff face. I experienced first hand how team members dealt with a challenge that they clearly felt uncomfortable with. They helped support each other and completed the abseil task despite obvious fear.

Following the conquering of the cliff,  the ambitious Tarmac team navigated their way inside the depths of the mountain with torchlights, wellies and caving suits. Chris Jones of Tarmac asked Eventus to arrange the team challenge following a previous enjoyable day on the TalybontTrail. After dealing successfully with the caves, the Tarmac team faced another team challenge blind folded, before eventually solving the combination for the hidden treasure.

Tired but exuberant , everybody enjoyed the fruits of their labour with chocolates and champagne all round. A thoroughly beautiful and rewarding day for all. I could not believe how fortunate I was to work with  all those involved.
