We’re away to London town this Wednesday for an evening Pub Games event. 

Pub Games is, quite simply, an awful lot of fun.  Having just returned from France where a brilliant Pub Games event was run – branded there as:  Jeux Traditionnels des Pubs Anglais!  And now we’re rearing and ready to go for an 80 person group this week.

One of the most brilliant aspect of Pub Games, to my mind, is that it gives teams loads of different, fun challenges to attempt and lasts just the right amount of time!  Teams tear through Darts, Billiard Bagatelle, Skittles (complete with 33ft Skittle Alley), Ring the Bull and much more over a 1-2 hour time frame.  They’ll be great at some events, not so great at others and have had a brilliant experience by the time the final hooter goes.

With short, frantic challenges, there can be a risk that participants feel that it just keeps going on and on.  However, as a 90 – 120 minute challenge, Pub Games strikes the perfect balance of giving participants plenty to do, but finishing before the lustre has worn off.
