We are back safe, sound and rested (sort of)! After three days, 750 delegates and over a 1000 miles, Team Eventus has returned triumphant – from quite near the Arc de Triumph!

As Sharon already posted (see below), the event went incredibly well and the client could not have been happier. Of course, with over 700 delegates from dozens of countries focused on delivering a great service, our Great International Marble Run was the perfect event!

As with any great road trip, we had our fair share of adventures along the route and navigating the streets of Paris presented its own challenges; and yet we were exactly where we wanted to be when we wanted to be there!

The team from EventusUK were without a fluent French speaker so, as is her custom, Priscilla saved the day on a number of occasions. She also brought an incredible team with her to help run the event. Everyone went home having worked very hard indeed.

After the event, it was a race to tear down and get to our hotel. The next morning there was time for quick perusing of fine French wines at Carrefore before we caught the Eurotunnel and were homeward bound.

Everyone deserves thanks and appreciation for their involvement, but special thanks and recognition need to go out to the following team members:

Jon – for arranging the formidable task of arranging equipment on very short notice;

Priscilla – for help with organisation on her end and for brilliantly managing the French Team;

Most importantly though, to Phil for the Herculean task of co-ordinating and facilitating the event from the very early stages through to delivery!
